We hold this practice at the 100 Acres: Virginia Fairbanks Art & Nature Park from May – October. Our practice location is under the trees near Stratum Pier across from Funky Bones. Map below. You may also attend via Zoom using the green button above.

No special knowledge or experience needed. Come as you are. Wear comfortable clothing.

You are welcome to come and go as you like. We usually enjoy snacks, drinks, and friendship between yoga and meditation.

Yoga 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. – You can expect yoga to be at a relaxed pace with space to breathe, with movements that facilitate gentle joint mobility and functional strength. A few mats are available for you to borrow, but please bring your own if you have one, or enjoy practicing directly on the cool grass.

Meditation 10:00 – 10:35 a.m. – Our meditation practice is quiet, continually returning to ease in the body and ease in the breathing. There is nothing to achieve or attain. You are welcome to practice your Way as long as you help maintain a quiet practice space for the group.

Mindful Dialogue and Active Listening 10:40 – 11:15 a.m. – We’ll practice either a paired or full group mindful listening and speaking exercise. Both are great practices that will improve every relationship in your life that involves communication.

Sharing and Discussion 11:15 – 11:30 a.m. – Share any questions and reflections and hear what others have to share. It’s ok to just listen, too.

Walks on the 2nd Saturday of every month: On the 2nd Saturday of every month, we offer a Mindful Nature Walk after yoga beginning at 10:00am instead of holding meditation and mindful dialogue. Please RSVP for the Nature Walks at https://indycommunityyoga.org/walks
