This practice is inside the Frederick Douglass Park Family Center. No special knowledge or experience needed. Come as you are. Wear comfortable clothing. You are welcome to come and go as you like.

Practice Leaders:

Tony (he/him) and Dustin (he/him) on more or less alternating weeks.

Schedule:

Yoga 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. – in the big room just to the right inside the main entrance: You can expect yoga to be at a relaxed pace with space to breathe. We lead movements that help you find ease in your body. You are always free to move as your body recommends. A few mats are available for you to borrow, but please bring your own if you have one.

Meditation 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. – upstairs in Multipurpose 1: Our meditation practice is quiet, continually returning to ease in the body and ease in the breathing. There is nothing to achieve or attain. You are welcome to practice your Way as long as you help maintain a quiet practice space for the group.

Sharing and Discussion until 11:45 a.m.: Share any questions and reflections and hear what others have to share. It’s ok to just listen, too.

Safety

If you have any symptoms of contagious illness (e.g. coughing, fever, runny nose, body aches, malaise, etc.), please stay home and recover. Thank you for caring for your health and the well-being of people attending practice.
