Mindful Nature Walks

Quiet walking and mindfulness practices in every season.

We invite you to join us for quiet walking and mindfulness practices in a small group setting. Every Body Welcome! Our Mindful Nature Walks include periods of quiet walking with stops where our Practice Leaders offer mindfulness prompts and activities to help participants come into contact with their sensations and feelings. This practice is a gentle way to return to ease in the body and ease in breathing as we feel our reactions and relationships to the world we are a part of.

These practices are suitable for most ages and abilities. No special knowledge or experience needed. If you have accessibility questions or needs, please email us (Marissa @ IndyCommunityYoga.org). Come as you are and just be yourself!

Last Sunday of each month May through October • 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the 100 Acres (After yoga and qi gong practice)

We meet at the 100 Acres for our Sunday walks, after ICY’s morning yoga and qi gong practices conclude.

We walk rain or shine, except in hazardous conditions like icy roads or thunder/lightning. Make sure to dress for the weather! Walks include a mix of paved, gravel, and grass or mulched surfaces with some slight inclines. Portable toilets are available at the parking lot and bathrooms are open at the 100 Acres Visitors Center April – October.
