Hello! Welcome back!

Thank you to those who have written about us and tell our story:

Indy Community Yoga is a worker self-directed nonprofit cooperative that supports community harm reduction and community well-being. We create opportunities for every body to practice free yoga, meditation, and mindfulness for the well-being of communities.

Our Core Practices:

Mindful Movement (yoga and qi gong)

Meditation (quiet Zen, silent retreats, and gently guided MBSR-style body scans)

Mindful Dialogue (facilitated active listening in pairs and small groups)

Mindful Nature Walks

Our Schedule. All events are free!

Sunday

Led by Tony (he/him). A series of gentle, accessible movements that warm, loosen, and oxygenate your muscles. A reading of the Heart Sutra and seated and walking meditation follow.  Learn more and RSVP.

Led by Sarah (they/them). This is a healing space for people who are Queer, Trans, or Questioning that includes all three of our core practices: yoga (movement and breathing adaptable to all bodies), seated meditation, and facilitated mindful dialogue.  Learn more and RSVP.

Note: These are at different Indy Parks on the 4th Sunday of each month, year round.

Marissa (she/her), Dustin (he/him), Tony (he/him), and Katy (she/her) lead quiet walking and mindfulness practices in a small group setting suitable for most ages and abilities. Every Body Welcome! These practices are a gentle way to return to a sense of ease in the body and ease in the breathing in community and friendship as we observe our reactions and relationships to the world we are a part of.
